Appalachian Trail

A footpath that goes from Katahdin in Maine to Springer Mountain in Georgia. Estimated to be about 2160 miles long. It is estimated that about 4 million people hike the trail every year. The only covered point on the trail is the mountain crossing at Walasi-yi center. Learn more at www.mountaincrossings.com. Amicolola “Tumbling waters”



One of the beauties of north Georgia is the many waterfalls around the area, notably is the Amicolola fall a 729ft fall. A beautiful view year round, but best view is around early spring and fall. It is the tallest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi
